1740 – WI-FI Network Terms and Conditions

By connecting to the villa’s Wi-Fi network and using the Internet access provided, all guests agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions.

Service Provision and Disclaimer

Free Service: Wi-Fi internet access is provided free of charge as a courtesy to guests.

No Guarantee: We do not guarantee a consistent, uninterrupted, or fast service. The service may be temporarily unavailable or impaired due to atmospheric conditions, technical issues, or circumstances beyond our control.

Risk of Use: Your use of this service is entirely at your own risk. We are not responsible for, and have no control over, the Internet services you access or the information you transmit or receive via the service.

Security: While we take reasonable steps to ensure the security of the network, we do not guarantee the security of the information you may transmit or receive using the service. We recommend you do not use the service to transmit or receive any confidential or sensitive information.

Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use the Wi-Fi service for the following purposes:

Unlawful Content: Access, send, or receive e-mails or Internet services which are defamatory, threatening, intimidating, or could be classed as harassment.

Offensive Material: Access, send, or receive e-mails or Internet services which contain obscene, profane, or abusive language or material, or contain pornographic material.

Copyright Infringement: Download, alter, e-mail, or otherwise use copyrighted works (including music, video, films, pictures, text, and other content) in violation of copyright laws.

Illegal Activity: Engage in any activity that constitutes or is capable of constituting a criminal offence.

Network Misuse: Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, alter, destroy, or otherwise affect the proper operation of the network.

Monitoring and Enforcement

Logging: You agree and acknowledge that we may keep a log of the Internet Protocol (“IP”) addresses of any devices accessing the service, the times of access, and the activity associated with that IP address.

Cooperation: You agree that we are entitled by law to cooperate with law enforcement authorities and rights-holders in the investigation of any suspected or alleged illegal activity.

Suspension: We reserve the right to immediately terminate or suspend the service if we reasonably believe that you are in breach of any provision of this agreement.

Commercial Use

The Wi-Fi service is intended for personal use only. The Wi-Fi service is not provided for commercial use.

The villa and its management will not compensate you for any direct financial loss, loss of profit, revenue, or business interruption in the event that you use the Service for commercial purposes.
